Brett Ralston and Jared Roper met building shows at Wynn Las Vegas. Between them they've spent more than 40 years on Strip productions, from dawn load-ins to 2 AM strikes.

They also saw what planners put up with: day-labor crews that changed faces every shift, and five vendors on one event, each pointing at the other when the timeline slipped.

So they built the company they kept wishing they could hire. Expert Staging Productions became an LLC in May 2023, structured the way they'd always wanted a vendor to work: their own W-2 crew, fabrication done in-house, and one point of contact from first call through strike.

We were born in Las Vegas and built our company on the same stages we grew up watching. Today that means stage rental, custom staging, scenery, and full production for corporate galas, after-parties, concerts, festivals, and F1 race week.

Brett Ralston, co-founder & president of operations

Brett Ralston is a co-founder of Expert Staging Productions, born and raised in Las Vegas, with more than 20 years in Vegas event production. He leads operations and client relationships, which makes him the person planners actually reach when they call.

Brett has built for events at Resorts World, Wynn, MGM properties, Caesars, Fontainebleau, and the Las Vegas Convention Center, along with corporate galas, concerts, festivals, and F1 race weeks. He runs every project from the first call through strike, and he's usually on site when it counts.

Planners describe working with him the way he runs the company: straightforward, easy to work with, on time. He'd rather flag a problem early than paper over it, and he answers his phone.

Jared Roper, co-founder & president of marketing

Jared Roper is a co-founder of Expert Staging Productions with more than 20 years in live event production. He developed the rapid pool-staging methodology the company is now known for.

Jared met Brett building shows at Wynn Las Vegas, where the two spent years solving install problems on someone else's clock. He built the modular deck system that makes pool deck staging over open water practical on a resort timeline, and it carries into every tight-window build.

If a space looks impossible, Jared has probably staged something like it. He designs the build around the venue, not the other way around.

Ben May, executive director

Ben May is Expert Staging Productions' executive director and, for many planners, the first voice on the phone. He runs the front end of every project: scoping, quoting, and scheduling, and he keeps communication moving while the build is underway. Planners who come back year after year usually start with a call to Ben.

Designed, fabricated, and installed under one roof

Everything Expert Staging Productions builds starts and finishes in its own Las Vegas shop. Custom staging and scenery are modeled in SketchUp, rendered in 3D for client approval, then fabricated in-house on the company's own CNC machines and laser engravers. Nothing gets subcontracted out or sourced and reboxed from someone else's warehouse.
